14:00–15:00 – Tea Ceremony Experience

DESCRIPTION:

The experience takes place in a historic traditional house from the Edo period.We will prepare matcha and explain how to make tea and how to use the tools.In a calm and quiet atmosphere, you can enjoy conversation with the host in English while experiencing Japanese traditional culture.

For the first bowl, you will watch the tea being prepared.
For the second, you will try making matcha yourself.
Seasonal Japanese sweets are also included.

Tsurugi Hakusan

Sake Tasting Experience

17:30–19:30 – Sake tasting Experience

DESCRIPTION:

The experience takes place in a bar inside a 100-year-old traditional storehouse. A sake sommelier will serve selected sake and explain the differences in taste in a simple way.

Tsurugi, known as the “inner retreat” of Kanazawa, is a town of brewing and sake. You will taste carefully selected sake from local breweries in Tsurugi and Hakusan, paired with seasonal dishes.
While enjoying conversation about sake—its types, production methods, and history—you can also enjoy small dishes made with local ingredients.
